Sustaining Self: Fundraising Event

  • Brooklyn Space Modern Furniture 68 Jay Street Brooklyn, NY, 11201 United States (map)

Join Studio 3 NYC for a panel discussion about sustainability in business and advice for entrepreneurs with women who run successful small businesses in NYC. Moderator Yolanda Sangweni will lead the conversation with Kenny Morifi-WinslowSadaf Padder, and Wen-Jay Ying.

The panel will take place from 4–5:30pm as part of Saturday's "Sustaining Self" fundraising event (3–7pm) in tandem with a silent auction and group exhibition featuring work by local artists.

Proceeds from all artwork and ticket sales will fund Studio 3 NYC's $30k goal to open its doors for a multifunctional studio space in the South Bronx that will cultivate valuable connections in the art market and advance exciting projects for local artists. With the aim to open its doors in 2022, Studio 3 NYC is actively building community through its artist consulting services and curated events and experiences.

"Sustaining Self" is a crowdfunding event that would not be possible without the generous donation by Brooklyn Space Modern Furniture to host us in its showroom, the valuable time and expertise of our moderator and panelists, and the contribution of incredible work by local artists. The team at Studio 3 NYC truly appreciates – and thanks you – for sharing in our passion and joining us in our efforts to promote artists, growth and learning, healing, and community-building.
